Help with paid childcare
For eligible families, the government adds £2 for every £8 you pay into your childcare account, up to £500 every three months per child, or £1,000 for a disabled child. It can be used alongside funded hours to help pay for additional childcare.
Explore Tax-Free Childcare →If you are eligible, Universal Credit can cover up to 85% of approved childcare costs, subject to monthly limits. You cannot receive Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as Universal Credit.
